Nicholas II of Russia

Well, only friends called him “Nikolai” and since I wasn’t even born when he was around, I’ll just stick to Tsar Nicholas II. Nicholas was born to Tsar Alexander III, but unlike his father, he was actually quite a sensitive child. Growing up, he traveled abroad often and met many royal relatives in places such as Germany and Denmark with one of his trips leading to a fateful encounter with his future wife, Princess Alix.
