These Fabric Trays are So Easy and Have Many Uses
They Make Lovely Gifts Too!These cute little fabric trays are great for keeping things organized all around the house. Make several for the sewing room, the bathroom, your dresser, and for collecting keys and such by the door.
They also make lovely gifts. Since they sew together quickly you can have several done in just a few hours.
Start with two 6 3/4″ squares of fabric for each tray. Six-inch squares of medium-weight woven fusible interfacing will help them hold their shapes.
The video from Sewing Times shows you how to cut the fabric squares. If you’re planning to make several trays you may want to make a template so you can quickly cut them out without having to measure them all.
Watch how the trays are made in the following video.
Click here to watch the video at YouTube if it doesn’t play on your device.
The finished trays are 5″ x 5″ x 1″ deep.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
