People often go to a gym or fitness center to exercise, but it is also a place to meet people and socialize with new friends. In this conversation, a man meets a woman at a health club. He wants to find out more about her, but he doesn’t know what to say.

In such cases, what kinds of appropriate questions can people ask when they meet new people for the first time? What questions are NOT okay to ask? Predict three questions the man will ask.

Idioms

gym rat” = someone who spends a lot of time exercising at a gym“My brother is a gym rat. He goes there every day after work for about three hours.”
